We are pleased to announce that the Ukrainian Association of Medical Physicists of Ukraine (UAMP) has become a member of the European Federation of Medical Physicists Associations (EFOMP).

Since its inception, the Ukrainian Association of Medical Physicists has had one of its goals – to establish cooperation with foreign colleagues, because their experience will be very useful in the development of medical
physics in Ukraine.
After receiving the first results of our activities, UAMP began to actively discuss with EFOMP representatives the possibility of joining the European family of medical physicists.
A vote was held among UAMP members, according to which 97.62% of respondents supported UAMP’s accession to EFOMP.
The package of documents was then prepared and submitted to the EFOMP Secretary. On May 21, 2020, the voting of EFOMP delegates ended, as a result of which the accession of the Ukrainian Association of Medical
Physicists of Ukraine (UAMP) to the European Federation of Medical Physicists Associations (EFOMP) was unanimously supported.
We are convinced that the cooperation of the Associations will be mutually beneficial and fruitful.
